Social Work in Rural Areas
From the inside out.
SAILR brings together education, consulting, cultural and social projects, international cooperation, and an approach that connects self-awareness with social responsibility. Our work centres on participation, relationships, the ability to navigate conflict, and the experience of being able to shape change.
What SAILR does
Four fields form the practical structure of SAILR. They stand on their own while connecting wherever complex social questions require more than one method.
Education
Experiential learning through movement, culture, communication, democracy, mindfulness and participation.
Consulting
Professional support for individuals, professionals, teams and organisations through supervision, mediation, psychosocial counselling and Nonviolent Communication.
Projects
Social circus, hip-hop, democratic education and intergenerational formats turn SAILR’s approaches into practice.
International Work
Cross-border cooperation, exchange and long-term relationships in Europe and beyond.
