Consulting
SAILR supports individuals, professionals, teams and organisations in gaining clarity, working through conflict and developing viable next steps.
Supervision
Supervision provides a protected and professionally facilitated space for practitioners, teams and leaders to reflect on their work. Professional situations can be viewed from a distance, different perspectives can become visible, and new options for action can be developed.
Possible topics include case reflection, clarification of roles and mandates, teamwork, conflict, structural tensions, workload, responsibility and professional boundaries. Supervision does not prescribe ready-made solutions. It supports participants in recognising their resources, understanding contexts and developing sustainable decisions. Sessions can be arranged as a one-off intervention, as process support or on a regular basis.
Mediation & conflict management
SAILR’s mediation practice is informed by Dudley Weeks’ approach. Conflict is not treated merely as a confrontation between opposing positions. The focus is on developing a conflict partnership: participants share responsibility for the process and work towards solutions that take their essential needs into account while preserving a viable relationship wherever possible.
Within a structured and protected setting, perceptions, feelings, interests and needs are clarified first. Attention then turns to shared concerns, existing resources and realistic options for action. Agreements are not imposed from outside but developed by the participants themselves.
Nonviolent Communication, perspective-taking and attention to roles, relationships and structural conditions complement the process. Conflict management can address acute disputes or be used preventively to clarify responsibilities, improve cooperation and develop a constructive conflict culture.
